Is gel or mousse better for curly hair. I cut my own hair today and it turned out better. For example if you want to rock a mohawk you reach for a bottle of hair gel and hold the mousse. Currently using sulfate free. I have 3a 3b hair and when i started off leaving my curly hair down i started off with mousse herbal essences totally twisted curl boosting mousse as well as a few from my local beauty supply store and it didn t do anything for my hair it was as if i hadn t put anything in it.
